Hello PMSA Members!
The PMSA is hosting our most popular event of the year, our annual Life as a Doctor Seminar, which is designed to provide insight into the daily tasks, challenges, and responsibilities of a medical student, resident-physician, and practicing physician. The goal of this seminar is to highlight the reality of the difficult nature of the profession so that you can truly decide whether or not medicine is right for you. We feel that the best way to highlight this is by having presenters at different stages of medical training share their experiences and answer your questions. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the progression from medical student to physician, and will give you the chance to ask any questions both during and after the presentations about any stage of medical training. The Life as a Doctor Seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, January 30, from 5:30-6:30PM in Katz 1-080. If you are interested in attending this seminar, then please RSVP using the following Google Doc link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q-ZhC5J6m7AzRPH-BlcTu9dlKI8t2KvsyLwyatemBBY/edit This RSVP is only used to determine how much food we should order. You are free to attend this event without an RSVP; however, there may not be enough food. Please RSVP by the end of the day on Monday, January 28 at the latest. Please remember to bring your PMSA membership card to the event. If you have not already purchased a membership card, we will be selling them at the event for $5 each. We look forward to seeing you all there!
