Hi PMSA Members!
PMSA has been running largely the same events and services for the past few years. In the upcoming academic year we hope to expand our group and make some changes in order to more effectively serve our current and future members. Some of our ideas for next year include:
PMSA 2014-2015 Feedback Form Our executive wants your feedback!! We want to know how the general members thought this year went, as well as what they think can be improved upon for next year. We would also like your input on the ideas we have listed above for the re-invention of PMSA. Please take a few minutes to fill out the following feedback form and let us know what we can do to serve you better! Any feedback is appreciated! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1khoAWgnUkGxD9mJLdS5aENHc11XBVEmSqx8pqzqjCcg/viewform Thanks everyone! Sincerely, Mohit

Hi Everyone,
The Suturing Workshop has been cancelled this year due to timing constraints. On behalf of the executive team, I apologize. We hope to host this workshop next year. I would like to take a moment to say thank you, everyone, for coming to our events. We hope that you have gained a wealth of knowledge and resources that will support you on your journey to becoming a physician. We wish you the best of luck on your final exams, and we hope to see you at our events next year! Sincerely, Mohit Hello PMSA Members!
I hope exams have been going well for everyone and that you are ready to tackle finals! The PMSA is hosting one if its last seminars for the semester, which is our International Medical Schools Seminar, scheduled for Thursday, March 20, at 5:30PM in the Allard Family Lecture Theatre on the main floor of the Katz Building (Katz 1080). In this seminar, we will be having a representative from GlobaLinks Learning Abroad come and present on nine different Australian Medical Schools. In addition, we will have representatives from Ross University, the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, and the American University of Antigua. If studying medicine abroad is something you have been interested in, then this is the perfect opportunity to learn about several different foreign medical schools, as well as the process of obtaining Residency in Canada/USA following graduation. There will also be pizza and pop, so please bring your membership card to this event. If you have not already purchased a membership card, we will be selling them prior to the event for $5 each. **On a related note, we have yet to reschedule our Suturing Workshop, so please stay-tuned for updates! Sincerely, Mohit |
