Hi PMSA Members!
The second Small Group Session for this year is the Suturing Workshop. This is a great opportunity to come out and learn one of the most important tools doctors use in treating trauma patients. If you have ever had stitches before, this workshop will introduce you to some of the basic techniques of suturing, which will be taught by experienced medical students. This workshop will give you the opportunity to: -Learn about the basic techniques of suturing. -Work together in a positive, dynamic setting within your small groups. -Network with other pre-medical students and medical students! This workshop is scheduled for Friday, March 22, at 5:30PM. We will be meeting on the main floor of the Katz building by the entrance to the small group rooms, located directly across from the Tim Hortons. If you or your friends are interested in attending this workshop, then please RSVP using the Google Doc at the following link by midnight on Wednesday, March 20: https://docs.google.com/a/ualberta.ca/document/d/1oqCKlek_Vnv0m9xiURJPagRWDj_SM0x6q9LInu4Wmy4/edit Please bring your membership card to this event. If you have not already purchased a membership card, we will be selling them at the event for $5 each. As well, please bring your own fresh banana and scissors to practice suturing with. We look forward to seeing you all there!
